This term for our
Science Inquiry, we looked at Bees.
After going on a bee hunt around the school, we identified that bee
numbers were declining. Through our
discoveries, we learnt that this is a problem for our environment because we
need bees to pollinate our flowers and therefore provide us with food. We discussed the problems bees were facing
and thought that by planting a garden, we could encourage the bee population to
increase. Here are some photos of me
taking action and sharing my learning.

Lolly Invention
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
We have been
reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. We had the task of designing a new candy or
lolly for Willy Wonker’s Chocolate Factory.
Our lolly had to have a special feature.

Language Experience - Gloop!
We had a lot of fun touching, feeling and talking about gloop. We then wrote amazing stories about our experiences using onomatopoeia, adjectives and verbs.
